Junior Half Day Rally Experience

This Half day experience is designed to provide a fun and exciting introduction to the sport of Rally driving.

These sessions are held during school holidays, using a rally prepped Nissan Micras. These front-wheel pocket rockets are great fun to take around the loose gravel surface rally stage at Silverstone - and ideal for training youngsters.

The course begins with a short classroom briefing on safety and rally car control. Then its their turn behind the wheel, practicing techniques of handbrake turns, power slides and pendulums culminating in three laps of the Silverstone gravel rally stage.

The instructors, who have been doing rallying driving for a long time, are very patient, with driving geared to each junior’s ability. Each car runs with a group of six kids.

When can I go?

This experience is available during school holidays, subject to availability.

How long will my experience last?

You will spend approximately 3 to 4 hours at the venue.

How many people is this experience for?

This experience is for one child, there will be other people there on the day.

Can I bring family and friends?

You're welcome to take friends and family along to watch at no extra cost.

What else do I need to know?

The minimum age is 14 years old and the maximum is 17.

This experience is available to all children who meet the minimum height requirement of 137cm (4ft 6") to 185cm (6ft 1") and the maximum weight is 14 stone.

You will need to speak fluent English in order to understand the instructor.
