Inventing the Runway is a spectacular new immersive exhibition exploring the history of the fashion runway show, from the intimate couture salons of the early 20th century to the unforgettable pop-culture events of the present. Narrated by Cate Blanchett, the show will utilise Vogue’s remarkable archive and contributor network to create an experience that brings together the industry’s leading voices from the past, present, and future.

The Moonwalkers: Until the 29th June 2025.
Tom Hanks narrates an epic experience that offers a unique new perspective on humankind's past and future voyages to the moon. Telling the stories of the Apollo missions in intimate detail, The Moonwalkers also provides an insight into the impending return of crewed surface missions by going behind-the-scenes of the Artemis programme, including interviews between Hanks and Artemis astronauts.

David Hockney: Bigger & Closer: Until the 29th June 2025.
David Hockney takes us on a personal journey through sixty years of his art. Lightroom's vast walls and revolutionary sound system enable us to experience the world through Hockney's eyes. His life long fascination with the possibilities of new media is given vibrant expression in a show that invites us to look more closely, more truly and more joyously.

Prehistoric Planet: Discovering Dinosaurs: From the 9th July 2025.
Discovering Dinosaurs at Lightroom is a celebration of our natural world through captivating storytelling, breathtaking visuals and groundbreaking technology, in collaboration with Apple TV+. Evoking a feeling of wonder, you will be guided on a once in a lifetime adventure, exploring the fascinating role dinosaurs have played in shaping our world from 66 million years ago until now.

Once your visit is done at the Lightroom head over to RAILS at the 5* Great Northern Hotel, where a delicious fresh scone with jam and clotted cream is awaiting you along with an array of pretty pastries, cakes and finger sandwiches. Spend your afternoon indulging into a national tradition that dates back to the 1840’s in the heart of Kings Cross & St. Pancras.

The Lightroom will last approximately 50 minutes and your afternoon tea will last about 1 1/2 hours.

This experience is for two people, there will be other people there on the day.

Under 18’s will need to be accompanied by an adult at all times.
